Describing Graph
The graph shows the changes in the number of varieties seed as shown in this sampling of ten crops. It can be shown that all of crops varieties have dropped. Between 1903 and 1983, the number of tomato crops had reduced minimally by 80.6%. In 1903, found that just 307 of sweet corn, but in 1983 this variety had a dramatic fall.

A century ago, in 1903, commercial seed houses offered hundreds of crops. The graph shows the variety of ten kind crops; Beat, Cabbage, Sweet Corn, Lettuce, Muskmelon, Pea, Radish, Squash, Tomato, and Cucumber. The biggest number of varieties among those crops in 1903 was Cabbage, followed by Lettuce and Radish in the second and the third place respectively. Cabbage had 544 varieties, while Lettuce was 497 varieties, and Radish was 463 varieties. Next, in the fourth place was placed by Pea and Tomato because their total varieties were in the same numbers, which was 408 varieties. The fifth and the sixth place were placed by squash with 341 varieties and muskmelon with 338 varieties. Moreover, the bottoms three of varieties among those crops in 1903 were placed by sweet corn, beat, and cucumber with the total of varieties were 307 varieties, 288 varieties, and 285 varieties respectively.

In 1903, cabbage has the biggest proportion among the crops. It is 14%. However, in 1983, the proportion of cabbage slightly decreases.
In the other hand, the proportion of squash strictly increases. It becomes the biggest proportion among the ten crops.
Over all, even though one of the crops increases significantly, most of proportions from the varieties of the ten crops decrease significantly in the last 80 years.

During interval 1903 until 1983 (80 years), the commercial seed houses of ten crops decrease significantly. It’s drawn in the chart that the average of ten crops decreases above 80% for 80 years. For example the sweet corn has decreased as many as 96.09 % and it’s a dramatic decline. The rest of commercial seed house of sweet corn is only 12 from 307 or the rest is 3.91 % from 100 %.

The Chart of Varieties of The Crops
The
chart shows the number of varieties of ten crops dropped in 80 years, from 1903
until 1983. Ten crops are beet, cabbage, sweet corn, lettuce, muskmelon, pea,
radish, squash, tomato, and cucumber. From all of the crops, the number of
sweet corn varieties decreased the most. Between 1903 until 1983, the number of
sweet corn varieties drooped by 96, 09 %. By contrast, during the same period,
the number of tomato varieties dropped by 80, 63 %.
