Project Guideline of Mathematics

Project                                : Mini Research Report (MRR)
Percentage                         : Mathematical data (30%), Presentation (20%), Analysis and
Conclusion (30%), Participation (20%)

Research Guideline

Week 1:
Ø  Make a group of 4-5 students.
Ø  Each of groups survey a target of research (can be shop, market, supermarket, or company).
Ø  Make connectivity with the target by “Letter of Instruction” that given by school.
Ø  Write a weekly report of survey and send through email: annas.bentari@yahoo.com

Week 2:
Ø  Each of group collects the data about the target. The data should be including the products of target (2-3 products), capital of selling, price of each products, the income average (daily or weekly), and benefit average per week.
*Attachment is below (table 1.1)
Ø  Input the data into report form.
Ø  There is a consultation session. Each group will get one session per week to share the obstacles, the experience, and the plan for the final result. (Please, make an appointment first!)

Week 3:
Ø  Analyze the data and make a hypothesis for the income of selling.
Ø  Relate your data with linier programming study and make the mathematical form as a research data.
Ø   If you have any conclusion of the research, you should have a suggestion or advise for the producer or seller to find the maximum benefit.

Week 4:
Ø  All group starts to write the research and collect the report in printout.
Ø  Every group should present the experience of research in front of class (15-20 minutes).
Ø  Collect the research report on Friday, April 20th 2012 in a pigeon hall.
