My Experience of Learning Mathematics

           Discussing about the math, I remembered my experience when studying mathematics at the Elementary School. At that time, I do not like the math. In my opinion, mathematics is the most difficult lesson so I do not understand the lesson. And so I often repeat the math test that was held at the school. In addition, I also never punished by my teacher because I do not understand the explanation given by my teacher. This happened to me when I was grade 3 to grade 5, the teacher is a teacher who taught me all the material so that I only have two teachers in the class.

To improve math scores, my mother asked me to teach my teachers outside of school hours in school. During the one semester I attended the event, the changes do not occur on my math skills. My mother did not understand what I feel is precisely at the school. Actually, I'm afraid the attitude of my teachers when I teach. My teacher is often used violence when students are noisy and do not understand the explanation was. For example, if you do not pay attention to teachers, students eraser thrown by poor writing and if it has an error response when the task, students pinched in accordance with the number of errors that answer. In addition, teachers often warn my students that mathematics is a serious lesson. That is why all students should pay attention to details.

            This story is another story that I had when I studied at Secondary School. At that moment, I am very happy with the math. This is due to the delivery of content by teachers who can understand me. In addition, my teacher always gives exercises and then discuss the matter with the class. Of the learning process like this that makes me happy to learn further mathematics.

In my opinion, the matter will be understood and loved the students if the teacher understands the needs of students so that students enjoy learning with him. In addition, teachers also need to convince students that each of the studied material is material that is easily understood when studied in earnest. On the other hand, the violence at the time of study can lead to anxiety when students learn. From my experience, I want to be teachers who understand the needs of students. In addition, I also want to be teachers who understand and know the learning style of students so that I can deliver the material in accordance with their learning.
