WELCOME LETTER

Welcome to 11th Mathematics Grade!

          Welcome to my Mathematics Class. My name is Wirmandi Pamungkas. You can call me Pak Wirman. I am the new mathematics teacher in this school, so I will be teaching you Mathematics. I am really excited to work together with you!

          Actually, as all of you have known, mathematics is important subject in life. Mathematics is not about how good you are in remembering so many formulas or how good you are in doing complicated numbers, but mathematics is about how good you are in applying it into the real life. So many things in this life is all about mathematics.

          In this lesson, I expect you to like and understand about mathematics. I also expect you to be prepared for 12th grade and National Exam! During this lesson, we will do many tasks of mathematics. I will give you individual tasks. Do not worry because I will choose some students who have high score in 10th grade to be the tutor. Let’s we learn together!

Rules

In mathematics class, we will have some rules as shown below:

1.     Respect each other

You should respect each other. When someone is explaining something, you should pay attention and listen it. Do not interrupt someone who is explaining something. If you want to ask something, you should raise your hand.

2.      Do not bullying each other

You do not have to bully people! No weird and no stupid person, everybody is the same!

3.      Lateness

If you are late more than 15 minutes, you can enter the class but you will be marked as  absent.

4.      No eating and drinking

During the class, you should not eat and drink anything. Put your drink bottle in your bag.

5.     Break

We will have 5 minutes break in the middle of the class. So, for those who wants to go to toilet or drinking, you can use this time.

Homework

I will give you homework in every session and it will be collected in the next session. You should do and finish it in your homework book a day before the class. If you have not finished your homework when the class started, you will be given 5% discount for your score of that homework.

If you are sick and can not collect it at that time, please collect it when you come back to the school. But, you should give me the medical letter. For those who can not join the class, they can find out the homework on the moodle or ask your friends.

You will have tutor for helping you to do your homework. But, it does not mean that the tutor should finish all of your homework. You should do and finish it by your own self. You can ask your tutor for the probems that you do not understand at all.

If you have questions out of the class, I will be available on Tuesday until Friday at 04.00 pm. Do not hesitate to ask me about anything that you have not understood.

Quizzes

This quizzes will measure your understanding about the topic. I will give this test in every topic. So, you should prepre yourself for every topic. All of the quizzes will be close-book, so you are not allowed to open your book. If you open your book or cheating, you will get 15% discount for your score of this quizze.

In every session, you will have grade as shown below :

Participation   15%
