3.1 Determine mean, median, and modus of single data and its interpretation
3.2 Present data in tables, bar charts, line charts, and circle charts

Introduction
Number and formulas, that is what people think about mathematics.  Though mathematics is not only about that. Mathematics can be combined and applied with other subjects, especially Indonesian language. Now, you will learn the connection between Mathematics and Indonesian Language!
Task
First, You will need to review a topic about statisctis such as mean, median, modus, bar diagram, line diagram, and circle  diagram. Second, you will demonstrate your understanding about it by completing the worksheet. Third, you will do collecting data in your class with your group. Then, each group should complete and processing the data that have collected. Last, each group are asked to present their work in the class.

Part 1 : Review and extend your knowledge
Be sure to read all directions before you click the links
1.       Browse our lesson about statistic on moodle
2.       Review about determining mean, media, and modus of single data
3.       Review about bar diagram, line diagram, and circle diagram
4.       Complete our worksheet individually (online excersises), find it on the moodle.
5.       Send this individual worksheet that you have completed into our moodle.
6.       Browse our lesson about good presentation and speaking on moodle


Part 2 : Collecting Data
You will be group to do collecting data. Your group should gather data in your class.
1.       You will be group of 5 to do collecting data
2.       Please check your email to know about your group.
3.       Each group should gather the data from your class.
4.       Ask your classmate about the data as shown below :
a.       Size of shoes (Group 1)
b.      Height of body (Group 2)
c.       Weight of body (Group 3)
d.      Total member of family (Group 4)
e.      Studying hours per day (Group 5)
f.        Pocket money per day (Group 6)

Part 3 : Apply your knowledge
In this part, each group are asked to process the data that have gathered.
1.       After doing mini research and gather the data, each group should determine mean, median and modus of the data.
2.       Present your data on bar diagram, line diagram and circle diagram
3.       Make your presentation about your data, mean, median, modus, bar diagram, line diagram, and circle diagram in power point.
4.       After you make power point, each group will present their work in the class
Evaluation
1.       Have your classmate to check you individual worksheet
2.       Check the answer on the moodle (PDF), it will be given or posted after all of you have posted the individual worksheet .
3.       You will have presentation about your work that you have done in your class.
4.       Every member in your group should have their part to present their work.
5.       Teacher will give the feedback.
Conclusion

Congratulation! You have learned about statistics, especially mean, median, modus bar diagram, line diagram and circle diagram. You did collecting data in your class! You present and explain  your work in the class by doing presentation.
