The Mathematical History of Mine

“I want to be mathematics teacher.” Yes, it is my dream and I always keep it in my heart. Actually I did not really like mathematics. Since I was study in junior high school I started to love mathematics although I really love physics. “Why physics?” I really did not know why. But, based from this course I could follow some competitions. And the effect of that I could travel, got new experiences and exactly I got new friends from the other schools.

“So, way I want to be mathematics teacher?” In fact and until now, I do not really able in mathematics course. But I have some experiences with mathematics teacher. When I was 2nd grade in junior high school I got a not ordinary teacher. She was success make us love mathematics. She always helps her students in learn mathematics. For example when I did not solve a problem, she suggest me to solve in the front of class. She guide me in step by step and when I did the problem she also explain to all of students in class. We were learn together based on the faults to be able and right answer. After I was beginning study in senior high school, I met with a teacher who inspiring me. He always inspired me that learn mathematics so fun and not always about numbers. Finally, I promised “I want to be teacher, teacher and teacher.”

One time in 3rd grade, I got a new big problem that gave big impact in my life. It is about study in the college. I so aware that I had not enough money, moreover achievement. In the despondenly, I tried to forget my dreams. I started to forget to continuing study in mathematics major. Then I said to myself to give up and do what can I do until I graduate.

In my give up ways’ I met my 1rd grade mathematics teacher. In unsuspicious,  he bring a good news that sampoerna school of education give students scholar to study. And the majors’ is mathematics education. I am so happy hear that. With the support from all people in aroung finally I got this scholar. And now, I study in sampoerna school of education, mathematics education. I hope I can defend this dream.
