Data from National Seed Storage Laboratory reported the research result about availability of crops in 1903 to 1983. There were ten varieties of crops which was sample of that research. Those were beet, cabbage, sweet corn, lettuce, musk melon, pea, radish, squash, tomato and cucumber.
The result showed that availability of crops dramatically decreased for about 80 % until 90 % in 80 years. From ten varieties researched, the most dramatic decreasing was happen on sweet corn. It sharply decreased for 96.9 %. Mean while, tomato had the smallest percentage of decreasing which is 80.63 %.
