Wooow.... I am confuse what should I say in this reflection. Actually I want to share what I felt during teaching in MAN 11 South Jakarta. “Just So So” is my feeling in the fisrt week because I only observed at that time. I did observation  in the science class especially X-IPA 2. In the second week, I taught these class and X IPA 1. I was really tired at that time because so many things should I prepared to teach them. I prepared about lesson plan, power point presentation, simulation, games and worksheet.   When I prepared all of them, I was really sad and mad when the worksheet which I made lose. So I had to made again, it is really made  so tired.
The fisrt time to teach in MAN 11 came. Tuesday, 10th’ April 2012, I taught X-IPA 1 with the “Lecturing Method” and X-IPA 2 with “Diffrentiatited Instruction Based on Multiple Intelligence Method”. I did it to meet statistics task where I had to conduct mini research and the result will be present in statitistics class. Actually, I ever taught in X-IPA 2 before conduct research because I really want to help them to understand the material. The reason is their teacher only sat on chair when explain the material and so many students who still confuse. Back to X-IPA 1 and 2, at the end I asked them to write reflection. Generally, X-IPA 2 had fun during the lesson and understand about the material. They really happy when I taught them, the lesson was not bored and they asked me to teach them longer. I am really happy about that but actually I did not like their attitude because they had not respect each other and a bit arrogant. However, I realized that the students have different characteristics. In the other hand, X-IPA 1 reflections said that they happy enough but they asked me to teach more active and enjoy. Actually, because I took “Lecuring Method” so I just explained on the white board without went arround them. I realized that they will be did not like these method. So, my conclusion is X-IPA 1 hope something interesting from me in teaching. Thank you X-IPA 1.
Based on my explanation in the second paragraph, I had taught for 3 times. So, in this paragraph I wanna share the last teaching in X-IPA 1. I really love them. I used active learning in this class. There are group discussion and I always went arround them and asked “do you understand? Is there something that made you confuse? Let’s asked me”. In the other hand, I always asked them to come in front on the class to solve the problems and they had to explain to the their friends how they did it. I proud of them because they really respect each other. They always paid attention to their friends’ explanation and gave applause. When I divide class to be small group, they join each group directly and set the table. At the end, I gave them competition group through games called “round robin”. I asked them to be responsibility of each members in each group to be understand about the material. They really enthusiastic about these activities. At the end, they wrote reflection and generally said they really happy and undertood about the material. They enjoy learn with me and asked me to teach longer. Actually, I really want to teach them everyday but impossible for this time. I had to come bact to campus. I really so sad leave them because I really enjoy with X-IPA 1 rather than X-IPA 2. They are so great students. I hope they will be success person. Thank you Sampoerna School of Education (SSE) that gave the chance to me to teach J
