Welcome Letter

Dear Students,

Welcome to 8^th grade mathematics! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday. I am happy to be back and  ready for a great semester. I'm so glad that you are going to be in my class this year.  We will be doing many special things in our classroom. My name is Wiyarsih and you can call me IbuWia. I will be teaching you Mathemtics.

Mathematics is a fun subject. In this year, we will learn about:

1.      Geometry

2.      Sequence and Series

3.      Shape

4.      Etc

I have made a lot of games and many of interesting activities for all of you. We will use softwares too, like geogebra and maple. Isn’t that very interesting?

Before that, i have class rules for this class.

1. Respect
   We will respect all people and all things.

2.      Coming to the class

I will give you 10 minutes tolerance for being late. After 10 minutes you are not allowed to come into my class. If you are late more than 3 times, I will call your parents.

3.      Meal and drink

You are allowed to drink and eat candy.

I want all of you to do all of your work (both individual & group work) in one book.

I will assess every assignment. Make sure that your assignment is complete. I will give you feedback on your assignments.
