WELCOME LETTER

Welcome to the new class in 10^th grade!

Hello my students! My name is Ewa Hanifa Hasmaningrum. You can call me Ibu Hani. In this class, I will be teaching mathematics. We will learn together. You will learn from me and I will learn from you. Please feel free  to remind me if I make any mistakes. 

 Mathematics is an mportant subject. I will not expect you to do complicated numbers or remember many formulas. In this class, I really expect you to be able to solve mathematical problems and can apply mathematics in. daily life.

During this lesson, I will give you individual and group tasks. For individual tasks, I hope you can do it by yourself (please do not cheat from others). For group tasks, I hope each of you can work together as a team.

Rules

I will give some rules that important for my class.

1. Respect

          You should respect to everyone in the class. You should give an opportunity for those who explain something, listen it and don’t interrupt. Raise your hand if you want to talk or ask something.

2. On time

     I hope you always be on time for my class. You can be late for 10 minutes after class is started. If you enter more than 10 minutes, you will be marked absent.

3. Break

          I will give 5 minutes to break in the middle of the class. In this rule, you are allowed to drink mineral water, go to toilet, or just relax in the class.

If you need other rules, you can share it in the class. That rules should get agreement from your classmates

Homework

I will always give homework in every session and collect it in the next session. That homework should be completed, if not, you will get consequent from me. For those who can not join the class, you still have to collect it (you can ask me or your friends about the homework). Beside that, for those who can not collect the homework (e.g. sick) you can collect it in the next session.

Quizzes

By the end of the course, I will give the quizzes to you for every topic. These quizzes will measure your understanding about the topic. If you pay attention to the lesson, you will do the quiz easily. You are allowed to open-note but you are not allowed to open-book.

This is the grade that you get for every session:
