My Mathematical History

           If I heard the word “Mathematics”, honestly I do not like it. That was what I felt since I was in Elementary School. Many people said to me that mathematics lesson is difficult to understand so that it was really affected in my mind. I always felt difficult to do assignment from my teacher. Even I felt doubt about what I did. So that is why I said that I do not like mathematics.

          In the middle school, I got a teacher who made me loved mathematics. He knew that I did not like mathematics. He said that mathematics is interesting lesson. At that time, I really doubt about his statement. During in the class, he made some methods which made mathematics is interesting. Through his taught, I could do mathematics easily.

          In Senior High School, again and again, I do not like mathematics. I thought that mathematics lesson in senior high school was very difficult. I would to try love mathematics but I did not. I got a scary teacher. If I did not understand about her lesson, I became afraid to ask her. I prefer chosen chemistry lesson than mathematics lesson. I had a dream that I could entered college which has chemistry’s major.

          On the other hand, I did not get a chance to enter chemistry’s major. I was disappointed. I tried to register in Sampoerna School of Education and I was chosen mathematics’ major. Fortunately, I got it! I never guess that I can enter with mathematics’ major. I felt doubt whether I can follow every lesson in SSE. Lecturer in SSE made me confident to learn mathematics. Moreover, I have friends who always helped me to understand about mathematics. I never felt afraid to ask the lesson.

          I love Mathematics and I want to be educator :)
