Welcome Letter

Dear Students,

Please allow me to take a moment to welcome you to my mathematics class. My name is Redyta Amalia and I will be your mathematics teacher. I graduated in secondary education with a major in Mathematics from Sampoerna School of Education.

During this first week of school, you will have the opportunity to cover some rules and expectations for my class. I want to send a copy of what we discussed for you to keep at home, so that through working as a team, we can ensure that you find success in my classroom.

   1. Be Prepared – Please bring to class each day stationaries including rulers, textbook, binder, compass, and arch.

   2. We are very fortunate to have the ability to access the entire textbook, and supporting materials, online at any time. In order to utilize the online version of the textbook, you will need to set up a personal account with your own login and password by simply going to the address www.redclass.net. Once you log in, you have an access to not only the textbook but also a wide variety of review and study activities.
   3. Hand in all assignments when they are due. In the event of an absence, you will need to personally contact me at a convenient time upon return to school to receive make-up work.

   4. If you have an excused absence, the school’s policy is followed. For assignments that are handed in one day late, you will receive one-half of the total score.
Projects are also expected to be completed by the due date. A full letter grade will be deducted five percent for each day that the project is late.

If you have any questions or concerns relating to my class, please do not hesitate to email me redyta.amalia@redschool.net.

Again, I want to welcome you to my mathematics class. I am looking forward to working with you throughout the upcoming school year.

Sincerely,

Redyta Amalia
